Mastering Content Creation and Deployment

mastering content creation and deployment

Welcome back to Uncle Ron's Porch, where we gather every week to unlock practical strategies for growing your small or local business using proven SEO techniques and social media know-how. This week, Uncle Ron has taken us through a journey of producing high quality content aimed at your target audience. This week is packed with actionable tips to elevate your business visibility and conversion rates. Let's dive into what we've learned.

The Power of Multi-Platform Content Delivery

In the first episode of the week, Uncle Ron opens up about the merits of multi-pronged content delivery. He offers valuable insights on how you can meet your content goals by deploying across various platforms. First through your website and then through the variety of social media platforms. Employing different types of content across multiple channels will extend your reach and increase your visibility. In order to create a great user experience, the idea is to recycle content over time, ensuring a broader audience sees it. Lastly, Uncle Ron stresses the importance of regularly updating your Google business listing using relevant key words in order to engage your target audience and increase your reach.

Choosing Between Writing and Recording

On day two, Uncle Ron addresses a common dilemma that people have when deciding what content format to engage in. Should you start with writing blog posts or recording video content? The answer is flexible. If writing feels challenging, you can start with recording videos. Afterwards, you can convert them into written content using AI tools like chatGPT can be a great alternative. The best content marketing strategy is to start with the format that you are most comfortable with using. In addition, you want to focus on storytelling to answer customer questions and solve problems.

AI for Content Diversification

Moving to midweek, Uncle Ron dives deeper into using AI for content diversification. Your content strategy should include different content types such as educational content as well as other types of interactive content that will engage your potential customers.

Using a content calendar and tools such as ChatGPT, Synthesia, Descript, and Cast Magic, you can transform one piece of content into many forms of engaging content easily. For instance, you can convert a blog article into a script for interactive content in video format using ChatGPT, then produce the video through Descript or Synthesia. This video can then be transcribed and repurposed into summaries, email campaigns, and blog posts with Cast Magic. The key takeaway for creating valuable content is the importance of habitual content creation, irrespective of the method you choose.

The Publishing Sequence

In order to meet your business goals more readily, your content creation process should follow a certain order. Uncle Ron advises to always publish valuable content on your website first to get credit in Google rankings. Sharing content across multiple channels is important to do once you have published on your own website first.

After publishing on your website, immediately share this content across social media platforms using the meta description from your website. Next, Google Business listings should feature summaries and links to your content during the first week that your engaging content goes live on your website. Then, the full article can be posted on LinkedIn in the second week to leverage its strong SEO. Uncle Ron also introduces tools like Missing Letter to recycle content for 12 months and Bitly for tracking link performance.

The Importance of Video Content

Rounding up the week, Uncle Ron explains why video content is a natural fit for YouTube and is a great way to create compelling content. Long form video is the type of content that shines on YouTube. It leads to customer engagement as long as your content includes relevant keywords, is interactive and includes a call to action.

Google, being the dominant search engine, places high importance on video content, and YouTube is its second-largest search engine. Incorporating links in video descriptions can drive significant traffic back to your website. Leveraging AI tools can make creating video content easy even if you are camera-shy. Uncle Ron reminds us that video enhances Google crawling and improves search engine results, making it a vital component of your content strategy.
